Summit is a rambunctious boy who found himself in rescue through no fault of his own. He has been with his foster family since he was 11 weeks old, and they have loved watching him become part of the family. He loves to play, especially with foster brother SSOMN alum Kismet! He is easily trained and has learned basic commands with his foster siblings. He is excellent at following by example and shows respect to the pack leader. He does well in public and is learning how to walk nicely on a leash. He likes to walk right under your feet so will need continued work in this area. He likes toys and loves to chew on his bones. He has also started relocating foster mom’s shoes regularly but has yet to chew on one… He is not a cuddler but will come up for pets and to play with toys with his foster family. He is very vocal while playing and isn’t afraid to try to steal toys from the other dogs. Summit is crate trained and potty trained. He knows exactly where to run when you grab a treat and say ‘Kennel’. As he is a puppy he is always kenneled at night and anytime we leave home. He will occasionally complain for a minute or two but calms down quickly.
