Please help us welcome Orion (Rion for short) to the Saving Shepherds of Mn family! We were called about Orion last week after he was picked up as a stray, sick and very skinny. He was vomiting blood and the vets worst thoughts were confirmed…he tested positive for Parvo! Without rescue backing to pay for the vet bills, he would be euthanized! After speaking with the vet about his prognosis, we decided to do our best to save this sweet boy! At only about 3-4 months old, we knew we just had to try!! After spending 4 days in ICU, he is now in his foster home and is an amazing little boy!! Orion will be available for adoption once he is fully recovered and healthy enough to be vaccinated!  

******************** PUPDATE*************** Orion is doing so well -- he is on solid food now, but still on a special digestive food for a bit and will be going in for vaccinations soon... He is dong great with his Foster family and is such an awesome boy ! He is already kennel trained and potty trained (no accidents) and, he sleeps through the night !! Orion is such a fun and smart puppy ! He has the normal puppy energy but he is such a good listener - training has been awesome ! Orion just loves to hang out and relax with his humans. He loves his toys and can hang out at your feet, when he needs some chew time !! He plays well with all, loves all dogs, cats and toys ! He has good recall, comes when he is called, and knows his name... and he does well on a leash.
