Tracker is a silly, loving boy that has been patiently waiting for the right family to find him. He great with cats and dogs. His favorite thing is to play with is his Boston Terrier foster sister. He is crate trained, loves walks, travels easily (sleeps the entire car ride) and knows basic obedience commands. He asks to go outside by ringing a bell that hangs on his foster parent’s door. Tracker is neutered, current on vaccines & heartworm negative.

Tracker is a recovering special needs dog-- he eats soaked kibble twice daily and sits in his bailey chair for ~10 minutes. Tracker loves feeding time, practically hops right in his chair, and waits patiently for his food dish to be set down. Tracker had TWO surgeries as a puppy to correct PRAA (persistent right aortic arch). After the first surgery, improper at-home care led to dilation of his esophagus. Tracker then had a second surgery and went to an experienced foster home where he has been healing since! The last x-rays done in December 2021 showed improvement, but still a dilation of the esophagus. Tracker had follow up x-rays done in March 2022 and the doctor’s noted there was not much change from previous xrays, but okayed us to start playing around with his feeding routine to simplify the process. Prognosis is good and there is no reason that he can't live a long and mostly normal life!
