Online Adoption Application Form

Hi everyone! It’s Emily checking in to give you a little "pupdate" on how things have been going the last several months. You may remember a little about my history...I had a broken vertebrae from what the vet thinks was a blunt force object, my puppies went “missing” and I have bullet fragments in me.  

For starters, my foster mom calls me Xena, which really fits me well I think and have learned to know. I am looking for a new foster home or adoptive home now that I’m healed and spayed! Based on my history and now getting all of this attention from humans, I really want my humans to myself to spoil me. I have lived with other dogs in the past and while my fosters have made it work, we know that it’s only fair to everyone that I’m the only pet in the home. 

Honestly, that’s really my only “downfall” is that I want my own family to myself. I do well in my kennel and sleep there at night. I am very treat motivated, learning commands and love to be outside. I walk pretty well on a leash and love to watch chippies, squirrels and bunnies. I love being told how pretty I am while being brushed, which is one of my favorites. I’d let my foster mom brush me all day. Nylon deer antlers and frozen peanut butter kongs are fantastic. Now that I know how fun they are, I will bring you toys to play with me! People are my favorite! I keep hearing that I'm a sweetheart and have beautiful brown eyes.

I’m really hoping you give me a chance to show you how loyal I am and how much I love my humans. I will provide you with endless laughter, snuggles and love.
