Red initally came into rescue with the hopes of becoming a working dog for local law enforcement - but he just didn't quite make the cut.

He is social with people, gentle with kids, and good with other dogs. He is food motivated and is gentle when taking food from hand. Everything is new to him. He is startled easily but has become more confident in a short time. He has no idea what toys are and we are in the process of teaching him that they are fun to play with. He does well in his kennel, he’s quiet and clean. He is a strong dog and needs training. He knows sit but not consistently.

He’s a very nice dog. He will sit and down and is coming into his  now that he’s settled. He will make a great family pet for an active family or person.
