Trooper is a very smart and handsome boy! He loves to play fetch with his favorite ball or dummy. He enjoys a good belly rub and having his ears massaged. Trooper is an active boy that would be a great companion for dog sports or weekend trips to the lake. As a typical GSD, he can get a little carried away chasing after active children and occasionally nips at the back of their legs, so we feel he should go to a home without young kids.  Trooper may also need extra time for proper intros with new dogs...  although he was previously a frequent flyer at doggy daycare, he recently feels the need to be a bit protective of home, this is a change.  He has been exposed to kitties, and while he hasn't shown intent to harm, he does chase them if they run. 

Trooper is up to date on vaccines, will be tested for heartworm soon and started on a preventative. He is neutered and microchipped. If you'd like to be considered for adoption, please complete an online adoption application
