Turk is a 6 month old male whom has a heart as big as his paws!
Turk is fine with the house cats and two other dogs at his foster home. Though he towers over them in size already he is respectful of his place in the pack. He is older kid friendly, and apprehensive of strangers, but will warm up to a friendly voice. He is very loving though skittish and fearful. He over drinks and jumps up on everything and everyone. He is easily redirected but still nervously paces about as he is learning to trust and love again. Crate training is improving and house training is a work in progress. He does not understand his own size or strength with humans and his mouth needs constant supervision and redirection. Turk was picked up as a stray so it’s no wonder he is skittish around new people. It is heart breaking that he has not been taught any of these basics yet, but we are helping him learn how to be the best dog he can be!
Turk is up to date on appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. He will be listed on the website very soon!
