Welcome Charger to Saving Shepherds of Mn!  This little guy was found abandoned in the garage of a vacant home, can you imagine being only months old, left alone in the cold to fend for yourself?!  It’s unknown how long he was alone, but the neighbors heard his barks and called police.


 Despite that, Charger LOVES people, everyone is his new best friend!  We named him Charger because when you put him on a leash, he charges forward full speed ahead to his next adventure!  Charger is about 5 months old, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.   

It has been determined that Charger is not a good fit for someone looking for a relaxed pet. He will need to be matched with an experienced GSD Handler / Owner, that is willing to keep training him and working with his high learning capacity and energy level - he is quite smart and quick to learn new things.   He has shown that he does best in a pack situation, he does not do well being the only dog in the home.   He has shown some separation anxiety and does need someone that knows how to work on his crate training. He is a working dog and will need a strong leader and someone committed to his constant training needs...  He is has such a great demeanor !
