Hi everyone, my name is Levi, I was brought to the shelter covered in fleas and ticks, I also had lots of injuries to my feet and legs.  It hurt too bad to walk, so they put me in a cart to bring me inside, I didn’t want to be there, but it was better then where I came from.  Saving Shepherd of Mn immediately asked for me to come to their rescue so I could get all the medical attention I needed.  I was taken to a really nice vet clinic and they said my injuries were consistent with being drug behind a vehicle.  I couldn’t tell them how I tried to keep up, but I just couldn’t, I ran as fast as I could but they drove faster and faster....so here I am.  But they gave me really good medicine and cleaned all my wounds so they will heal.  I was also covered in fleas and ticks and they said my gums were very pale. Blood tests showed that I was extremely anemic, they monitored me to see if I would need a blood transfusion.  The good news is that I didn’t!!  I want you all to know that I’m a good boy, I didn’t deserve what happened to me!  I love everyone, people, dogs, cats and kids!  Once I’m all better, they told me I get to come meet the people who saved my life, I can’t wait!!

Levi is about 1 year old, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and when he is healed, he will be neutered.
