Online Adoption Application Form

Hi everyone, my name is Charlotte.  I’m 1 1/2 years old, up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  I was purchased from a breeder and brought to a nice home with lots of kids (6) to call my own!  I was so happy!  But then I started getting bigger and they put me in a kennel for long periods of time.  I outgrew the kennel, but they didn’t give me a new one, so I couldn’t stand up.  I was kenneled so long that I got an infection and I couldn’t move!  I was so scared and it hurt to go potty.  So a nice couple took me in, they had to shave my beautiful coat and found many ulcers on my skin from having to lay in my own urine.  I was put on medicine and I started to feel better!!  My sores healed and my hair grew back, now I’m beautiful again!  I also was even able to relearn how to walk again!  I am still wobbly in my backend, but I’m getting stronger!  Right now I live with another German Shepherd and she and I are best friends, I also live with a dachshund, but she and I both like to be in charge...because she’s little and I could hurt her (but I haven’t!) I’m looking for a new home.  My family has taken such good care of me, they love me enough to help me on my journey to my forever home!  They asked Saving Shepherds of Mn to come meet me and I think they liked me because here I am on their website!!  Will you be my new family?  I will need lots of love and patience as I’m relearning everything, I will need you to walk slowly so I can build my muscles and one day will be nice and lean so it’s not so hard on my joints!  Please let us know if you want me to come live with you, I’ll be waiting!!
