This girl, this girl right here is one you see on those commercials but hope you never see in person…..unfortunately we did see her in person.

Her story (the parts we believe) were horrifying.
Julia was brought to a vet clinic and dropped off, she weighed only 30 pounds!! The clinic was told the following….
The ‘owner’ thought she had gotten into rat poison, she was very sick and lethatgic, she laid down and didn’t het up….for days. They thought she had died, so they just left her there…
Then one day, they saw her move and realized she was still alive, that was when she was finally brought to the clinic.
When she got to the clinic, the smell, oh dear Lord the smell. She smelled like she was rotting. She had pressure sores all over her body, in places we’ve never seen pressure sores before and they were infected with puss oozing out of them. She was covered in feces and urine, her fur was matted and she could barely stand on her own.
But Julia is a fighter, so when we got the call the answer was YES, yes we will help her!
The police were called and Julia went into our puppy witness protection so she could heal under the care of an extremely qualified foster who has helped many other injured dogs.
It was no surprise when Julia started gaining weight immediately, it was very clear to everyone she had been severely neglects for a very long time, not just a few days like the clinic was told.     Julia loves people, (even though we sometimes don’t when we see what they are capable of), she is dog friendly, both big and small! She also seems to be cat friendly for dog savvy cats! She has her stuffie babies that she carries around and collects at night to sleep with her, it’s the sweetest thing ever! Julia’s wounds have healed and she is now ready to be adopted!
We estimate her to be around 2-3 years old, she is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed very soon!
