Finnegan (Finny) was left behind when a renter moved out of the home and didn’t bother letting anyone know she was there until the landlord happened to stop by. Unfortunately, she was forced to use the floor for a bathroom. For that reason, her potty training was virtually nil, but she is learning. She has begun her vet care and is all caught up on the appropriate puppy vaccines, she is also microchipped, is a great eater, and has a lovely demeanor. 

Finny is a calm, almost 4 month old puppy who is enjoying socializing with her 3 year old chocolate lab foster dog. When we say calm, we mean calm….for a puppy! She adjusts quickly and plays well with the lab. She is learning some commands such as sit, stay, potty outside. She is a confident pup who does not appear skittish. She has been around other dogs, and her foster family also has 3 cats - she is interested in them but does listen when they warn her to allow space. She is picking up on skills and routine quite quickly. Finnegan, does like to try and counter surf (who doesn’t like food, right!) and we feel would take food from younger kids, maybe not so gently. For that reason we think older kids would be best. Her foster family are exposing her to many new things so we are getting more information about her as she’s settling into their routines.
