Wanda is a wonderful GSD with lots of personality. She loves to play, fetch ball, sticks and play with all sorts of toys (occasionally it isn’t a toy when she’s being mischievous). She is good with the 3 resident cats, other than she likes to get in their space at times, but with no aggression (she is a herding dog). Wanda plays hard but fair with the other dogs she meets. Wanda currently goes on 2 miles walks daily where she heels when asked. On her walks, she meets other dogs and people well too. She responds to sit, stay, heel, leave it, and NO. Recall is reasonable for the amount of time and training we did; a little more work and it will be solidified. Wanda had a few accidents in the house the first week, but she has had no accidents since. Wanda will bark when she needs to go outside (although sometimes it’s just a “I want to play bark”). Wanda is crate trained and will go there on her own at times with the door is open. She sleeps on with bed with her foster parents and loves to sit on couch. She wants to be a part of the attention and always with the family! In the car, she rides extremely well and will wait patiently for her foster parents to return. Hardly any nose prints on windows!!! Wanda needs a loving home who can devote the time and attention that a good dog needs. She was recently spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and micro chipped.
