My name is Venus and I was found as a stray...I wish I could tell the nice people at Saving Shepherds about my past, but it might be too sad. I can’t tell time, so I don’t know how long I was running alone, but when I was picked up I was infested with fleas. I had them so bad, all my skin under my fur was full of scabs and my skin was also really red and inflamed. They took me to the doctor who said he thinks I’m about 1 1/2 years old, but I wasn’t taken very good care of. They gave me 2 baths and it felt so good, I just stood there and let them rub the shampoo all over my body! I think they gave me a massage too!! I got all my shots and a microchip, I just need to be spayed. They said that will be done next week. I’m in my foster home now and I love people! I give kisses and love to get pets. I like to bark at other dogs...a lot...so I haven’t met my foster sister yet. We will let everyone know how I do! Stay tuned as they get to know me more!
